HA2380 Browning Citori 725 Field, Ambidextrous, O/U, 28 Ga., 2 3/4", 28"MC Bbls. New-In-Box, Special $1,795

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

Browning Says: Gloss oil finish, checkered walnut, engraved low-profile steel receiver, mechanical trigger, Inflex recoil pad, Invector-DS chokes, over under shotgun. Balance. Form. Excellence. The Citori 725 Field is the standard by which all other over and unders are judged. Total functional excellence. is the evolution of John M. Browning’s legendary B25 Superposed, now with the modern performance advantage of a Low-Profile receiver. The new 725 receiver is significantly lower than other Citori 12 gauge receivers, yet the 725 shares the renowned durability of generations of Citori over and unders with the same rugged full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design. If you only have one over and under -- be one with it. With a 725, you get the "one with the gun" feeling you want, with the long lasting durability you expect from a Browning over and under. And the features don't stop there. The 725 showcases an all-new Mechanical Trigger (FireLite) that offers unmatched feel and lighter pull weights than ever before. Inflex Technology has also been added to make shooting more comfortable. And the new Invector-DS choke system moves to a new level of performance. Experience the benefits these improvements can do for your shooting with a new Citori 725.

Hero's Arms Says:  I got a few of these at a good price, so I am selling them for below wholesale price.  The 725 Field weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces so recoil won't be a problem with the 28 Gauge shells and Inflex II recoil pad.   It has a 14 1/4" Length of Pull.  It has no cast and no palm swell so it is ambidextrous, equally good for left and right handed shooters.  It comes with standard Invector Choke Tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder constrictions.  Others are easy to find.  (Invector DS chokes are only for 12 & 20 Gauge 725s, 28 & 410 use standard Invector.)  The receiver is engraved with a game scene on both sides.  It has both front and mid bead sights on its 28" barrel.  This gun is good for hunting, skeet and sporting clays.  I don't think they will be around long at this price.

Browning Says:  The Cynergy made a technological breakthrough with it's MonoLock Hinge, making it possible to create an over under shotgun with an ultra-low profile receiver. The design allows you and the gun to integrate and point as one - technology and biology working in tandem to become a formidable force on the range for destroying clays. The Cynergy sporting takes this advance and enhances it with widely recognized performance features including ported barrels, Midas Grade choke tubes, a HiViz Pro-Comp fiber-optic front bead sight, an adjustable comb, and an adjustable length of pull trigger.

HA2325 Browning Citori Lightning, Grade 1, O/U, .410 Bore, 2 1/2 & 3", 28"MC Bbls., (Used 99.9%), $1,595

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

Browning Says:  The lightning-style rounded pistol grip offers a more open grip than full pistol grip designs. Many shooters feel this gives a slight speed-to-shoulder advantage. It represents a midpoint in design between ultra-speedy straight grips and extremely stable full pistol grips. If offers excellent control for whatever you are after -- fast-flying waterfowl, upland game or just shooting fun. Matching the rounded pistol grip is the forearm. It is nicely rounded at the fore-end and together, they give the name to this over under gun as "Lightning Style," or in this case, the Citori Lightning model. As to the finish . . . The Citori Lightning over under shotgun features deeply blued barrels, receiver, top lever and trigger guard -- and gloss finished walnut stock. The trigger is gold in the classic Browning tradition. The checkering is a fine line 24 per inch cut that is true Browning with its sharpness and precision. This look and quality has long been the choice of serious hunters and gun writers. There is simply nothing to criticize. The look and feel. The absence of a recoil pad adds to the graceful look of its profile, and, of course, saves weight. Reduced weight is one of the primary advantages of this model. Plus, the general look of the Citori Lightning has its roots in early Browning Superposed shotguns -- from which this model evolved. It simply looks and shoots fantastically.

Hero's Arms Says: A local gentleman purchased this gun in 2016, fired it a few times and found that he couldn't break as many birds as he wished with it.  It has picked up a small scratch in the finish on the left side of the stock, and a tiny scratch on top, reducing its condition to 99.9%.  Other than these it is essentially new.  It is an attractive 410 Bore for Skeet, Sporting Clays, or hunting.

Browning Says:  Citori 725 Skeet Semi-beavertail forearm with finger grooves, gloss walnut, gold accented steel low profile receiver, ported barrels, HiViz Pro-Comp sight & ivory mid-bead. Concept gun. Yes. The idea is incredibly smooth swing, barrel porting for nearly flat barrel jump preceding the second shot and a feel that instill confidence. That is the concept. The Citori 725 Skeet takes the concept of "become one with the gun" to the realm of skeet, adding porting to the barrels, a HiVis Pro-Comp fiber optic front bead sight, and a semi-beavertail forearm with a finger groove. HA2208 Browning Cynergy (2015) Satin Sporting, Ambidextrous, Adjustable Comb, O/U, 12 Ga., 2 3/4" & 3", 32"MC Ported Bbls., New-In-Box, $2,295

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

Hero's Arms Says:  This 2015 Cynergy Satin Sporting Adjustable-Comb shotgun has 32" Ported Barrels, a 3" chamber for 2 3/4" & 3" shells, a 14 1/4" LOP over the Inflex II recoil pad.  It is ambidextrous because it has no cast and no palm swell making it equally useful for left and right handed shooters. The finish is a matte polymer which provides good weather protection.  The adjustable comb is very simple, a clamp in the comb, loosened or tightened by a 4mm wrench, slips down over two posts in the stock.  The posts can be moved left or right to give cast off or cast on, the comb can be clamped at various heights.  It comes with three Midas Grade Invector Plus choke tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder constrictions, and other Invector Plus tubes are widely available.

HA2101 Browning Citori 725 Sporting, O/U, .410 Bore Ga., 2 1/2" & 3", 30"MC Bbls., New-In-Box, $2,695

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

Browning Says:  Signature 725 rounded fore arm with subtle palm rest is both comfortable and stylish. HiViz Pro-Comp fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead sight for excellent target acquisition even in low-light conditions.  Five Invector Diana extended choke tubes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, Skeet) Beautiful gloss oil finish Grade III/IV Walnut. Gold accented Engraving. The Low-Profile steel receiver of the Citori 725 is a triumph of modern design without sacrificing traditional strength, keeping the full-hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design that makes a Citori superior to weaker trunnion designs. The silver nitride finish on the receiver is as tough as it is beautiful. Ventilated top rib provides a horizontal sighting plane, reduced heat mirage, and a classic sporting look. Ventilated side rib reduces overall weight and aids in barrel cooling. Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones provide improved shot patterns and superior durability, even with steel shot. The Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger system design features reduced take up, a crip break, and shorter overtravel, resulting in a high performance trigger that doesn't require intertia to reset. Hammer ejectors quickly and reliably clear the chambers for quick reloading. Top-tang barrel selector/safety allow you to verify the status of the gun without unshouldering it. Close radius pistol grip and palm swell with detailed checkering and classic lines for beauty without sacrificing function. Inflex II recoil pad absorbs and deflects recoil away from the shooter's cheek, allowing you to shoot comfortably for longer periods of time.

Hero's Arms Says: This 410-30" Sporting shares numerous important features with the 12 and 20 Gauge 725s, but it uses standard Invector chokes, in this case Diana extended chokes in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet Constrictions.   It has a 14 7/8" Length of pull, changeable to 14 3/4" to 15 1/8" by moving the trigger.  It comes with three triggers, Hi/Viz sight inserts and a choke toool.  It has nicely figured wood, and would be an attractive and reliable shotgun for skeet of sporting clays.

HA1894 Browning Belgian Superposed Grade V (Diana) 2 Barrel Combo, 12 Ga., 2 3/4" 28"IC/IC, and 12 Ga., 2 3/4" 26 3/8" SK/SK, Cased, (Used 99%), Cased, $6,995

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

This Browning Grade V (Diana) combo, first sold in 1956, is in exceptional condition.  There are a few very minor dings in the wood but the bluing and engraving are near mint.  It came originally with a 28 inch barrel set, barrel 1, choked Full and Modified.  These barrels were later opened up to Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder (Briley choke tubes could be installed if desired to get back to Full and Modified).  The second barrel set, 26 3/8" in Skeet and Skeet constrictions, barrel 2, was installed later by Browning and numbered to the gun.  A Limbsaver recoil pad has been mounted but the original Browning pad is in the case.  The Length of Pull with the original pad is the correct 14 1/4", with the Limbsaver it is 14 1/2". It has a Prince of Wales (Round Knob) Long Tang configuration. The wood is nicely figured. The Browning case is in good condition and contains the original owner’s manual numbered to the gun.  The deeply incised engraving by Browning Master Engraver Doyen is exceptionally beautiful - I personally prefer the Grade V deeply incised engraving to the earlier and later Diana styles.  I shot a round of skeet with the 26 3/8" barrels and the gun functioned flawlessly.  This is a real collector’s dream, which could also be used for hunting, skeet or sporting clays.

HA1301 Browning Pre-War Superposed, Midas Level Upgrade, Double Single Triggers, English Stock, 12 Ga., 2 3/4" 30"IC/M Bbls., Cased, $6,995

For a full page of  photographs and a detailed description click the photo above or click here.

The receiver for this Superposed was probably manufactured in 1932, but it was first sold in 1936 for $59.46.  As it left the factory it was a standard grade with specially ordered Improved Cylinder and Modified choking, and twin single triggers. (Browning Factory Letter) Unlike most double trigger guns the front trigger will fire first the bottom then reset itself and fire the top barrel,  The rear trigger will fire the top barrel, then one must use the front trigger to fire the bottom barrel.  One can also use it just like a normal double trigger gun. It has a solid rib and the "horseshoe" bracket on the front of the forearm, which distinguishes it from later versions of the Superposed.  In 1984 it was purchased by Thomas Grogg, an engraver, who engraved it and put in solid 18 Karat gold inlays and lines.  On the left side of the receiver is a Mallard, the right side is a Canada Goose. On the pre-1936 Midas Superposed there were pigeons on both sides of the receiver, so this is not a copy or an attempt to fake being a Midas Grade, but a Midas level upgrade.  After it was engraved in 1984 it was reblued and refinished by a gunsmith who formerly ran the Browning refinishing shop. There was some cracking in the finish of the stock, as was normal for Brownings of that era, so it was refinished with an oil finish by Klaus Hiptmayer who also refreshed the engraving. There is probably more than a thousand dollars worth of gold in this gun.  Grogg's signature is on the lower right side of the receiver just behind the pivot pin.  It has two recoil pads, a Pachmayr Old English, and a Browning Vent Rubber pad.  I purchased it from Grogg. The gun has had about 200 rounds fired since 1984

Browning Says:  Unique to the 725 Field model: Signature 725 rounded fore arm with subtle palm rest is both comfortable and stylish • Ivory front and mid-bead sights for excellent target acquisition. Accented high relief Engraving on the receiver for a traditional elegant look. Three Invector-DS extend choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder). Beautiful Grade II/III Walnut. Receiver The Low-Profile steel receiver of the Citori 725 is a triumph of modern design without sacrificing traditional strength, keeping the full-hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design that makes a Citori superior to weaker trunnion designs. The silver nitride finish on the receiver is as tough as it is beautiful. Barrel Ventilated top rib provides a horizontal sighting plane, reduced heat mirage, and a classic sporting look. Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones provide improved shot patterns and superior durability, even with steel shot. Action: The Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger system design features reduced take up, a crisp break, and shorter over travel, resulting in a high performance trigger that doesn't require inertia to reset. Hammer ejectors quickly and reliably clear the chambers for quick reloading. Top-tang barrel selector/safety allow you to verify the status of the gun without unshouldering it. Stock: Close radius pistol grip and palm swell with detailed checkering and classic lines for beauty without sacrificing function. Inflex recoil pad absorbs and deflects recoil away from the shooter's cheek, allowing you to shoot comfortably for longer periods of time.

Hero's Arms Says:  This is an attractive 410 Bore suitable for hunting, skeet or sporting clays.   The wood is nicely figured, the rolled engraving enhances the looks of the gun.  It has the Fire Lite mechanical trigger and low profile receive of all Citori 725s, but it uses standard Invector chokes, widely available, rather than the Invector DS chokes used on the 12 and 20 gauge 725s.  This is a nice 410.

Hero's Arms Says: This is the first of the 28/410 725 Sportings I have seen.  It shares numerous important features with the 12 and 20 Gauge 725s, but it uses standard Invector chokes, in this case Midas extended chokes in Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet Constrictions.  The stock has a very slight, 1/8" Cast Off (Right) by my measurement, but this is probably warped wood as to the best of my knowledge Browning doesn't offer stocks with cast.

Much of an over and under shotgun's appeal becomes apparent immediately upon shouldering it. And one of the biggest factors is weight. Immediately upon shouldering the Cynergy Feather, exclamations such as "Wow, this is light!" And, "Oooo, this swings really nice!" Thanks to the lightweight alloy receiver with steel breech face, the Feather fills you hands with only 5 lbs. 13 oz. in a 20 gauge with a 28" barrel.  Now that's a sweet-swinging shotgun! Having all the internal strength of the Cynergy family, the Featherweight shows off an engraved receiver with gold enhanced lines and a gloss oil finish on upgraded Grade II/III walnut. Who wants to carry a club in the field?

Hero's Arms Says: This 410 is a lightweight all around hunting and sport gun.  Because of the Inflex recoil pad and spacer the Length of Pull can be varied by 1/4" - with short or long Inflex pads (available from Hero's Arms) the LOP can be varied from 13 3/4" to 15 1/2" making it suitable for shorter or taller shooters. It has no cast and no palm swell so it is equally suitable for right or left handed shooters.  It weighs only 6 pounds 3 ounces so would be easy to carry all day, and it has essentially no recoil.

This Browning Cynergy Field was made in 2005 and has seen little use.  It basically looks and feels like new, with a couple of tiny marks on the bottom of the forearm.   It is currently set up with a medium Inflex recoil pad so the Length of Pull is 14 1/8" (or 14 3/8" with spacer) making it suitable for an average shooter around 5'6" to 5'10" tall.  I will however set it up and ship it with any length of pull between 13 5/8" and 15 3/8"  as desired for the same price.    It comes with flush Invector Plus chokes, Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder and 2 Skeet constrictions (added by Hero's Arms).   This gun could be used by a 5 foot 13 year old and will still fit when she is a 6'5" basketball player.  It can be used for anything, upland hunting, waterfowl, skeet, sporting clays or trap, truly a one gun solution.
